Trish Geronimo, M.A., Registered Associate MFT

Trish Geronimo, M.A., MFT" #120284

Humans are incredibly resilient, and each individual has the inherent capacity to heal when fostered in a safe space. My passion is to help equip and empower individuals with tools to change, grow, navigate adversities and transitions, and reconnect with their strengths. I believe that we are continuously evolving, becoming, unfolding, and allowing versions of ourselves to make sense based on the seasons we are in. I strive to foster a safe and nurturing therapeutic environment and relationship to hold space for individuals to begin a journey of unlearning, learning, self-discovery, and self-examination. My therapeutic approach is holistic, strength-based, solution-focused, and client-centered. I have experience working with children, adolescents, young adults, and adults in individual and group settings who struggle with depression, anxiety, trauma, grief and loss, stress, anger, life transitions, relationship issues, and self-esteem. I have also worked with families, coached parents, and worked with children and adults in community mental health settings, correctional settings, and schools.

I am a Registered Associate Marriage and Family Therapist #120284 and a member of the California Association of Marriage and Family Therapists. I received my Master’s Degree in Counseling Psychology with an emphasis in Correctional Psychology at Santa Clara University. I work at the San Jose location with clients in person and via teletherapy. Supervised by Danielle Zent, LMFT #53522.
