My name is Cathi, and I am an Associate Professional Clinical Counselor #10689 and received my M.S. Professional Counseling with Emphasis in Marriage Family Therapy in 2019. My minor is in Counseling with Emphasis in Chemical Dependency, Substance Use, and Addictions. I have been in the mental health field since 2014. In my experience, I have worked in a Crisis Stabilization Unit with youth ages 12-17 who were experiencing psychiatric symptoms at a crisis level, a co-ed men and women’s residential recovery program with individuals in treatment for substance use disorders and dually diagnosed, homeless individuals with mental illness disorders and substance use disorders, seniors in recovery, trauma, domestic violence, Christian/Lay counseling for children, adolescents and couples. In addition, I have taught anger management and co-dependency classes in a Christian domestic violence shelter for women. Lastly, my approach is to meet people where they are at in their lives and to help them grow in their path to healing and recovery.
