Courtney Strand works in our San Jose location. Currently, Courtney provides neurofeedback in the office.

Courtney is a dedicated Neurofeedback Technician at Nugent Family Counseling Center. She is currently accepting new clients in our San Jose location.

When clients step inside the office, she wants them to feel comfortable and assured that their needs could be voiced and their goals can be achieved. She strives to make long-lasting connections with clients and the treatment an enjoyable experience. Neurofeedback can help clients alleviate their symptoms linked to ADHD, depression, anxiety, anger/ aggression, sleep problems, stress, Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD), and many more.

Courtney received her Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology at San Jose State University. Prior to Nugent, she worked as a behavioral therapist, using the strategies of Applied Behavior Analysis, helping children and adolescents diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder. Additionally, she received her certification for neurofeedback from New Mind Academy.
