Kelly is a Clinical Professional Counselor Intern. She received her Master’s degree in Counseling from Nova Southeastern University, with a specialty in substance abuse and education. Kelly has experience counseling a diverse client population that includes young children, early adolescents, adults, college students and multi-lingual, multi-cultural families. In addition, Kelly is an ICF certified Life and Career Coach, trained to help clients navigate work and life stressors, find more balance in life, or transition to a more meaningful career.
In sessions, Kelly provides a warm, welcoming, and engaging style of counseling while providing a safe space to explore current challenges and solutions. As your therapist, Kelly will get to know you as an individual, instill hope, acknowledge your unique strengths, and support you in finding more courage, purpose, and passion in life.
Kelly’s therapeutic specialties include: stress management, career or school concerns, depression, anxiety, relationship conflicts, life transitions, and substance abuse. Kelly tailors therapy based on each client’s needs and what is working well to support recovery and growth. She utilizes a combination of cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), solution-focused and narrative therapy, as well as other evidence-based practices.
