Life presents a multitude of challenges to our capacity to remain grounded and balanced. Additional support can help through stressful and uncertain times. Through the process of therapeutic work, self-discovery can occur in a supportive and motivational environment. Whether you are seeking therapy to address anxiety, relationship issues, phase of life changes or depression, I will work collaboratively with you to help facilitate the insight you seek.

Specialties:

Adolescents, couples, families, trauma, phase of life changes, anxiety, depression, Alternative family structures, and LGBTQIA+.

As a therapist, my approach is comforting, supportive, and focused. I utilize a wide range of therapeutic techniques tailored specifically to each client, with an emphasis on empowering my client with coping strategies to use anytime. Together we can keep you motivated in creating the life you desire. I studied with John & Julie Gottman, where I became level 1 Certified in Gottman Method couples counseling. I continue to take additional training to increase my competence as it relates to relationships, trauma, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), anxiety, and mindfulness.

Currently, I’m working in private practice through teletherapy, and in person out of our Los Gatos office. Previously I have served as the mental health therapist in schools in four school districts and in the private school sector, as well.

I hold an M.A. in Counseling Psychology with an emphasis in Marriage and Family Therapy from John F. Kennedy University, as well as a B.A. in Sociology from the University of California at Santa Cruz.
