Michelle Jang is an Associate Marriage and Family Therapist #116116 under the supervision of Brian Huff, LMFT #38756. She received her Master’s degree from Azusa Pacific University. Michelle works with various clients, including children, adolescents, adults, older adults, couples, and families. She has experience working with clients struggling with depression, anxiety, trauma, abuse, OCD, bipolar disorders, schizophrenia, schizoaffective disorder, personality disorders, and eating disorders.
Michelle believes in creating a non judgemental safe space to empower her clients to live their lives fully. She works in combination with cognitive behavioral therapy, attachment theory, family systems, client-centered approach, and other forms of evidence-based therapy. She is passionate about assisting her clients to be able to build healthy ways to connect with others, feel in control of their emotions, and make changes in unhelpful patterns of coping. She has a level 1 certificate for Gottman’s couples therapy and is bilingual in Korean.
