When I reached out to Brittany, I was going through an exhausting divorce and felt utterly lost in life. Without going into my own problems, I can say that she is a one-of-a-kind therapist: Non-judgmental, caring, intelligent, and extremely positive.
In every session, she would listen carefully, take notes, and teach me how to overcome my problems. On more than one occasion, she started the session by discussing new techniques that she had looked into for the issue we discussed in a previous session.
After seeing her for 4~5 months, I can confidently say that she gave me the tools needed to fight my battles. Throughout, she never used a label to describe me and what I was going through---and I really appreciate her for this. It is easy to use labels to rationalize actions, but it takes a lot more to listen carefully, avoid labels, and to get to the heart of the problem.
As obvious as it may seem, the most important thing that I learned in my sessions with Brittany is that I am enough. And if everything else fails, I still have me to move forward.
I've been to at least 5 other therapists over the years, and she is easily the best one that I've met. I can't recommend her enough.
